Setup

Cones in zone 6 on the far side. Server behind end line.

Instructions

  1. Server performs float serve routine: toss, strike with stiff wrist.
  2. Target is zone 6 cones.
  3. 15 serves per player.
  4. Score: 1 point per cone hit, 0.5 per zone, 0 per fault.

Coaching Points

✓ Toss slightly in front and to the striking side.
✓ Contact behind the ball — no follow through.
✓ Aim for the seam between two passers.

Progressions

→ Target different zones — 1, 5, or 6.
→ Add passers — serve must break the W-formation.
→ Jump float serve introduction.
