Setup

Full defensive unit (GK + 10) vs attacking team. Practice corners from both sides.

Instructions

  1. Near-post runner makes early run to clear space.
  2. Two blockers set screens at penalty spot.
  3. Main runners attack near post and far post on signal.
  4. Corner taker varies — inswinger vs outswinger.

Coaching Points

✓ Timing of runs — just before ball is struck.
✓ Blockers must stay legal (shoulder-to-shoulder).
✓ GK calls early — keeper's or away.

Progressions

→ Add a short corner option.
→ Defending team plays live.
→ Attackers must score within 2 attempts at each side.
