1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using SportyZed (“the Service”, “we”, “us”, “our”) at sportyzed.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including visitors, free members, and premium subscribers.
2. The Service
SportyZed is an online platform that allows coaches, trainers, and athletes to create, manage, and share sports training and practice plans. The Service includes:
- A manual practice plan builder
- An AI-powered training plan generator (premium)
- A public library of community-shared plans
- Training session scheduling and tracking (premium)
- PDF export of training plans (premium)
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice where possible.
3. User Accounts
To access certain features you must create an account. You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete registration information
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
- All activity that occurs under your account
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You may not transfer your account to any other person. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Free & Premium Plans
Free plan: Free accounts may create up to 3 practice plans per calendar month. Free users have access to the plan builder but do not have access to the AI generator, PDF export, training session calendar, or the ability to submit plans to the public library.
Premium plan: Premium subscribers have unlimited plan creation, access to the AI generator (subject to fair use limits), PDF export, training session calendar, and library submission. Premium features are only available while an active subscription is maintained.
We reserve the right to adjust plan limits or feature availability with reasonable notice.
5. Payment & Subscriptions
Premium subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually as selected at checkout). Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
All prices are displayed on the pricing page and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days’ notice to existing subscribers.
6. Cancellation & Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Stripe customer portal or by contacting us at contact@sportyzed.com. Upon cancellation, your premium access will continue until the end of the current billing period.
After cancellation your account reverts to the free plan. Your existing plans remain accessible but features restricted to premium will no longer be available.
7. User Content
You retain ownership of any training plans, drills, notes, or other content you create on SportyZed (“User Content”). By submitting content to the public library, you grant SportyZed a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute that content on the platform.
You are solely responsible for ensuring your User Content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights or violate any applicable laws.
We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we deem inappropriate, without prior notice.
8. Intellectual Property
The SportyZed name, logo, website design, software, and all content created by SportyZed (excluding User Content) are the intellectual property of SportyZed and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission.
9. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service
- Resell or commercially exploit the Service without our express written permission
- Upload content that is offensive, harmful, or infringes third-party rights
- Circumvent any feature limitations or access controls
10. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
Training plans and AI-generated content are provided for informational and planning purposes only. SportyZed is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage arising from the use of training plans created on the platform. Always consult a qualified fitness or sports professional before following any training programme.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SportyZed shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or personal injury.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to SportyZed in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify registered users by email where possible.
Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
